1. Early Language & Literacy Classroom Observation Tool, Pre-K

Purpose: This assessment was designed to help educators, as well as researchers, "to examine the literacy-related features of classrooms." The test takes about 210 minutes to complete.
2. Supplementary Spelling Assessments

Age: 4-8 yrs old
Purpose: This assessment was designed to be administered in a group setting. The goal of it is to "augment the assessments of spelling teachers make on the basis of how, and how well, children spell in their writing." The test is broken up into two parts, the first part is an achievement and progress test which is allotted 35 minutes. The second part is untimed and is a diagnostic assessment to be used with students age five to six.
3. Decoding and Spelling Proficiency Test-Revised

Age: 6-25 yrs old
Purpose: This assessment was designed to provide "a detailed profile of crucial literacy skills that underlie reading and spelling." The test takes anywhere between 25 to 40 minutes to administer depending on the person taking the test. The current version of the test is a revision of an earlier test. The four parts can be administered separately or with one another.
4. Oral and Written Language Scales, Second Edition: Reading Comprehension

Purpose: This is an assessment to analyze reading comprehension, written language composition and expressive language composition. It is to be administered individually and can be used alone or combined with OWLS-II Listening Comprehension and Oral Expression.
