Attitude Survey
This attitude assessment was found on teachers pay teachers and is an informal assessment. This assessment would best be used on students in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade. The Spongebob character faces give the students a familiar cartoon face to help them answer questions. It would take about 5 minutes for students to fill out the survey which measures their oral and silent reading ability and comprehension of questions. Student's would use a yellow crayon to color the face that matches their emotion about the question. Students could answer the questions on this survey individually with help from the teacher who could read questions aloud for kindergarten students.

The assessment would best be administered to students from 1st grade up to 5th grade. The Storia Reading survey measures a multitude of things from a child's attitude about reading to the different ways and technology used to enhance reading. It would take students about 10 minutes to fill out the entire survey individually. However, modifications can be made to help students who may struggle with answering the questions on their own.
